La base se encuentra en pleno proceso de remodelación, consta de varios módulos independientes que definen diferentes zonas: área de habitabilidad, ciencias, combustible y mangueras, módulo de nautica, incineradora y generación eléctrica y área de taller y almacén de montaña.
