Remarks: BIC Humboldt will sail from El Callao on December 28 2012 to Punta Arenas and Antarctica arriving to Mac Kellar Sound around January 15 2013. BIC Humboldt participation in the ANTAR XXI is of logistical and scientific nature. During the season scientists from Peruvian Institute of Sea (IMARPE) will develop two marine projects related to biodiversity and three on oceanography and hidrography by the Peruvian Navy, all of them to be done in the areas of Bransfield Strait, Elephant Island, Admiralty Bay-MacKellar Sound. At the conclusion of ANTAR XXI, on february 28 2013, BIC Humboldt will begin its voyage of return through Punta Arenas arriving at that chilean port on march 4. After two days for supply and refueling will proceed to El Callao arriving at march 21 2013.

Remarks: This aircraft of the peruvian Air Force will depart from Lima on January 13 2013 stopover in Santiago arriving Punta Arenas on January 14. Fly from Punta Arenas to Frei Base on January 15. On February 27 from Frei Base to Punta Arenas and then to Santiago carrying 62 expeditionaries. On January 28 proceed to Lima arriving same day.
