Remarks / Description: The planned facility can accommodate up to 8 people and will operate over a five week period during October and November 2015. The igloo unit and polar sleeping units will be moved up on to Cape Adare ridge for the winter of 2016. Survival equipment will be stored inside the igloo unit including food, fuel, cooker, sleeping bags. This will be accessible as an emergency shelter for other (US) parties that are planning to operate in the area during the 2015/16 season.
