Serious difficulty had to be overcome due to reduced funds and delay in funding. Remarks / Description: Situated on the Antarctic Plateau at 3233 m a.s.l. It is made of two polygonal buildings (the quiet and the noisy towers) joined by a sheltered passage. The construction started in 1999, and was completed in 2004. The Station is jointly operated by France and Italy. 5 of 12 people are Italian.

The Station is jointly operated by France and Italy. 42 of 69 people are Italian.
