Science Plan/Program/Project: The activities of the 2013-2014 Expedition were in line with the document “Programma Esecutivo Annuale 2013”. Serious difficulty had to be overcome due to reduced funds and delay in funding. Nevertheless 35 projects carried out their scientific activities in the fields of Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Technology and Site Testing.

Remarks / Description: Situated on the Antarctic Plateau at 3233 m a.s.l. It is made of two polygonal buildings (the quiet and the noisy towers) joined by a sheltered passage. The construction started in 1999, and was completed in 2004. The Station is jointly operated by France and Italy.
