Scientific Information - Forward Plans
Science Plan/Program/Project: The activities of the 2010-2011 Expedition were in line with the document “Programma Esecutivo Annuale 2010”. Serious difficulty had to be overcome due to reduced funds and delay in funding. Beside a limited number of specific scientific themes, main goals have been the continuation of those series of measurement which make up an uninterrupted record of geophysical parameters and the fulfillment of the international cooperation agreements. The expedition was also aimed at the preservation of the assets and infrastructures of the Italian Programme PNRA in the Antarctica.
