Remarks / Description: Situated on the Antarctic Plateau at 3233 m a.s.l. It is made of two polygonal buildings (the quiet and the noisy towers) joined by a sheltered passage. The construction started in 1999, and was completed in 2004. The Station is jointly operated by France and Italy.

Remarks / Description: The whole Station is made up of the winter buildings and a Camp situated at 450 meters on the Antarctic Plateau at 3233 m a.s.l.. The Camp was originally created as support for the building of Concordia Station and for scientific activities, in particular for the EPICA Project. The Station is jointly operated by France and Italy.

Medical Facilities: No medical facilities on site, but 1 hospital and 1 physician at Dumont d'Urville Station, 5 km away, with helicopter support.
Remarks / Description: The Station is operated jointly by France and Italy. It is the starting point of the ground traverses for transport of cargo and fuel to the Concordia Station (on the Antarctic plateau).
